Ah - is there something new in the works for Zebra? I'm thinking of buying it in a few months. Your Old Skool sounds are a most compelling reason to buy Zebra.

There is always something new in the works. Right now i'm just having fun with the new beta version of Zebra 2 and in the long run something will eventually show up. Now one thing regarding Zebra and BETA, to my knowledge Zebra has always been in a form of beta since Urs is updating it constantly. So if your waiting for a non-beta version to hit the streets you might be in for a VERY long wait ;) Zebra in its present state is very stable and have been this way for roughly 2 years.
In any case, Zebra and Oldskool will be waiting for you :)

Ha - thanks. I've been on music hiatus for about 2 years, and the first synth I've been interested in (looking for a flexible workhorse) is Zebra. My previous fave was Albino, but the sonic textures possible in Zebra take the cake. Reading about Hans Zimmer raving about it doesn't hurt either ;-)
Yeah, BETA on u-he products means something completely different from BETA on other products
;-)
One has to get used to that.
